Firing Mangonels

On Tuesday Room 5 made mangonels. I had a buddie, he was Jack. Mine was wade out of: wood, a spoon and rubber bands. Jack and mine fired a marshmallow 4 meters.
                   

A&P show

On Friday Room 5 made things out of fruit & veges. We also decorated cookies

for the A&P show. With the vege thing

Dear Board of Trustees ,

I don’t know about Bring Your Own Device (BYOD). I’m pretty much easy. BYOD is when kids bring devices e.g. PSP IPODS to school to help with learning

I agree because its a good way to find facts online. Currently we only have four computers in our class and 29 kids. I would find it nice to have more devices. Another reason is that you can be playing a math game instead of looking at a boring math sheet.

The bad thing about BYOD is if your device gets stolen you’ve lost around $1000. That would be bad! Plus if you drop it someone with bare feet might step on it and cut their foot.  Also its bad for your eyes but good for your thumbs

Lastly I remain open. I don’t care about BYOD.  I don’t mind whether we have it or not.

Natureland!!!

Last Tuesday Room 5 went to Natureland. I saw one of my favourite animals which was the merecat. I learnt that the Tuatara can bite your finger for an hour.
